Ms. Patricia Fleming, Principal
 

Ms. Patricia Fleming, Principal
Ms. Fleming began her education career in 1970 after graduating from Youngstown State University. She also holds a Master’s Degree from Youngstown State. During her career she has taught at both the elementary and secondary level in the Diocese of Youngstown. In 1983 she was appointed Assistant Principal at Ursuline and became Principal in 1995. Ms. Fleming is also a member of the English Department where she teaches AP Literature and Composition.

Fr. Richard Murphy, President
Father Richard Murphy earned his undergraduate degree from American University, Washington D.C., in 1976. Fr. Murphy was ordained to the diocesan priesthood in 1980. He earned a Master's degree in Sacred Theology from the Athenacum of Ohio that same year. After two years of parish work, Fr. Murphy was appointed to the faculty of Cardinal Mooney High School where he taught for four years until he was appointed Associate Principal for Pastoral Ministry at Ursuline. Continuing his graduate studies, Fr. Murphy received a Master's degree in Religious Education from Boston College in 1990. After twenty-two years of varied administrative duties and teaching on the senior class level here at Ursuline, Fr. Murphy was appointed the first President of the Notre Dame School (K-12) in Warren in 2008. Two years later Bishop Murry asked Fr. Murphy to return to Ursuline to serve as Ursuline's Executive Advancement Director. In August of 2011 Fr. Murphy was appointed Ursuline's first school President. He acts as the administration's liaison to the school Board of Directors and as the Bishop's agent to guarantee Ursuline's authentic Catholic culture and identity.

Sr. Regina Rogers
 

Sr. Regina Rogers, O.S.U., Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction
Sr. Regina, a life-long Catholic educator, first served Ursuline as a religious education teacher from 1980-1982. In 1982 she was appointed Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction, a position she left in 2002 to serve her community as the General Superior of the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown. She returned to Ursuline in 2009, once again as Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction. Sr. Regina has earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Youngstown State University and Master’s Degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the Catholic University of America.

Mr. Matthew Sammartino, Dean of Admissions & Student Affairs
 

Mr. Matthew Sammartino, Assistant Principal for Student Services
Mr. Sammartino received his Bachelor’s Degree from Duquesne University and Master’s Degree from Youngstown State University. In addition to teaching in the Social Studies Department, he is responsible for the school’s marketing and recruitment efforts, as well as discipline. He has been a member of the Ursuline staff since 2000. He also serves as the school’s student council advisor.
